Feeding Suggestions For Frank Lampley’s Products
Calves
Start on Vitamix, from the day they are born until they are about 4 months old.
Vitamix provides vitamins and minerals including Vitamins A, C & E, Calcium, Copper, Selenium, Zinc Calcium Pantothenate and Direct Fed Microbials.
Vitamix feeding suggestions: Feed Vitamix one level teaspoon twice a day, everyday in the milk or non-medicated milkreplacer. For extra support, increase Vitamix to 6 times a day at least 1 hour apart; 3 times in the morning and 3 times in the evening; as needed.
Young Stock
Once your calves are 4 months old we suggest using Formula 7 until they reach breeding age.
Formula 7 provides Direct Fed Microbials and helps to transition the young stock from milk to grain.
Formula 7 feeding suggestions: Feed 1 slightly rounded teaspoon twice daily per 1,000 lbs. of body weight.
Cows / Breeders
Once your heifers have reached breeding age, discontinue the Formula 7 and feed Formula M to every cow twice a day, every day.
Formula M provides vitamins and minerals including Vitamins A, C & E, Calcium, Copper, Selenium, Zinc and Direct Fed Microbials.
Formula M feeding suggestions: Feed 1 heaping teaspoon twice daily. A 5-gallon bucket feeds approximately 45 head for 1 month.
Feed Vitamix twice daily to freshening cows for extra support.
