 Subchondral Bone & Joint Support

EQUINE LEG ARMOR contains nutrients
to support all major joint components.

May be especially beneficial for horses suffering from the following conditions:

  • Arthritis/Degenerative Joint Disease
  • Bone Chips/OCD
  • Bone Bruising
  • Bone Cysts
  • Bone Spavin
  • Bucked Shins
  • Calcium Deposits/Ringbone
  • Epiphysitis
  • Fractures
  • Navicular
  • Sesamoiditis
  • & More!

Leg injuries, whether they be to the bone or the joint can leave a horse sidelined with no solutions available to the owner for rehabilitation of the injury.  Many people turn to injections or glucosamine & MSM, or even herbs to help them, usually resulting only in disappointment.  We have established a combination of nutrients to support the bodies natural ability to stimulate bone mineralization (a higher amount of nutrients can be stored in the bone, improving bone strength and eliminating lameness).  We have also included nutrients that support the bodies natural ability to stimulate bone and joint collagen synthesis (the elastic-like material that gives the bones and joints their “shock-absorbing” properties) and also focuses on supporting vasodilation, to be sure that improved bloodflow is supported so nutrients may be delivered to areas of the body that may have poor circulation (For example, bones in the foot are notorious for being negatively effected by poor circulation).

Within 3-6 weeks a lame horse owner should expect to see improvements in head bobbing, short striding, etc...  A full rehabilitative approach typically expected to last 4-5 months as the cellular process of remodeling new bone takes 4+ months,  Once the rehabilitative period is complete we recommend switching to half the feeding amount for general maintenance of healthy bone and joint tissue moving forward.
*For Tendon injuries, see “External Rub”.

Feeding Instructions:

For horses in rehabilitation in need of additional nutrient support, feed 2 scoops, twice daily, for 1,000 to 1,200 lbs. of body weight.
For more moderate situations, feed 1 scoop, twice daily.
For proactive or maintenance, feed 1/2 scoop, twice daily.

For younger animals, feed 1/2 scoop daily per 300 lbs. of body weight.
*We recommend feeding 2 scoops twice daily to any horse rehabilitating from an injury for about 4-5 months before reducing the feed rate by half.

1-Gallon Jar  2 oz per Serving  Approx ~ 60 Single Scoop Servings
3.5-Gallon Bucket  2 oz per Serving  Approx ~ 210 Single Scoop Servings
5-Gallon Bucket  2 oz per Serving  Approx ~300 Single Scoop Servings

Note:  Initial improvements are often seen in just 3-6 weeks.  Feed horses in rehabilitation 4 scoops daily for several months before cutting back to a general maintenance level.

Wow! I had lost hope, but after 60 days, my horse is 50% MORE SOUND per my Vet’s Lameness Exam!

My 16 year old, Unicorn Barrel Horse, had some ground trouble at the BBR World Finals. We found out a few months later he had lost a chunk of cartilage on his hind fetlock and was bone on bone. Causing him to be very lame, in pain, and scored a 5 on his lameness eval. His prognosis was slim.
We did a new injection on the market that was collagen & elastin based. I decided to try the Leg Saver from Farm Life Nutra as I felt it was less expensive but had allll the right nutrients to help support cartilage regeneration. I run a PEMF business so my horse had regular sessions, focusing on that limb. He also received laser & red light therapy.
I have kept him on a heavy dose of Leg Saver for 60 days. I had him to the vet last week and he scored 2 points BETTER on his lameness Eval! My vet proclaimed he was 50% IMPROVED from 60 days prior. When we X-Rayed him, he actually has a bit more space in the joint! 🙏🏼🤗👏😧 Shocked. So, we will continue with the Leg Saver. Continue with all the other therapies and supplements and recheck him again in 60 days.
I believe Leg Saver has had an impact on his overall recovery and soundness. I am excited to see what 60 more days brings! I feel hopeful that between God’s plans for my horse and our career, the therapies, and Farm Life Nutra Leg Saver, my horse stands a chance at going back to performance!!

I have also tried a few other the other Farm Life Nutra products for my horses and have been very impressed. I will continue to use and plan to try some of the other products as well! We appreciate Farm Life Nutra!!!

A little goes a long ways

I bought this for my yearling granddaughter of Dash For Perks b/c she is already quite the athlete. So much so she scares me sometimes with her Lipizzaner moves, flying through the air, leaping and doing all sorts of reiner, cutter, pole bender, and barrel racing moves. I got this to give her added protection while she grows. I only give her 1/4 of a level teaspoon EOD (every other day) and then she began to really grow some legs. At 16 months to almost 17 months she went from 15.1 to 15.31/2 hands high.
