Our strongest product, featuring a concentrated blend of Vitamins, Chelated Minerals and Electrolytes essential for the immune system to function effectively during times of metabolic stress.
Let's focus on one of the most obvious aspects of dairy cow performance that are often undervalued. Many people face problems with metritis, mastitis and poor breeding results for months after calving. There's no doubt that this period of time is stressful on the body and the animal is most vulnerable to a number of bacterial and metabolic threats. But many of these problems can be avoided in the first place by providing the animal with a better nutritional foundation during the dry period. By providing the right nutrients, she will shed fetal membranes and fight off bacterial threats more efficiently and pass those nutrients onto the calf in gestation and through higher quality colostrum. So now you have an animal better prepared to deal with the stress and begin lactation in a healthy state. She will be able to produce more milk early on, her uterus will be much more healthy, fertility will be at optimum efficiency and her calf is healthier.
Since studies show that 50% of clinical coliform mastitis that occur in the first 100 days in milk originate during the dry period and bacterial contamination occurs in up to 90% of dairy cows in the first week post partum (potentially leading to metritis), it is of the highest priority to properly supplement the dry cows in your herd, so that you're not killing your chances at reproductive success and overall dairy cow performance during lactation.
Not only that, calves that receive the proper immune supporting nutrients in gestation and immediately after birth will be stronger and able to fight off the threat of foreign pathogens that typically result in high mortality rates. Scours accounts for half of all pre-weaned calf deaths. Of those, 75% are treated with antibiotics. Clearly they don't work. 1/3 of all deaths in the first 3 weeks are blamed on poor colostrum quality.
By using Vitamix on calves, you can support recovery from weak calf syndrome, scours and other metabolic concerns from birth. Any number of issues caused by compromised immune integrity will surely result in a higher mortality rate. This is a very simple and proven process to give them the nutrients they need to develop a strong, healthy immune system to better withstand environmental factors.
Why not supplement the dam and the calf during gestation, benefit them both and have a more successful outcome after calving for everyone?
The math is simple... stopping the problem before it starts makes sense 100% of the time.

- 1/2 tablespoon (5g) of Vitamix twice daily in milk or milk replacer
*Give 4 times daily if high mortality is historically an issue.

DRY COWS, CLOSE-UP/FRESH COWS
Support Recovery after Calving – Reduce Issues such as Retained Placenta & Metritis
50% of coliform mastitis that occurs the first 100 days in milk develops during the dry period & up to 90% of fresh cows will have bacterial contamination from fluids/tissues retained at calving. Use routinely for close-up/fresh cows.
1 scoop (2 oz) of Vitamix daily for Dry Cows. Increase to 2-3 times daily for close-up cows & generally continue for 7-10 days after calving. Administer via TMR, Drenching, Capsules or Top Dress Feed. Continue with only Formula M or Formula X after cows have recovered from calving.
- Routine use in close up & fresh cows may reduce instance of metritis & mastitis outbreaks during lactation, which improve various aspects of reproductive health. Passive immunity and more nutrient rich colostrum may also significantly benefit calves at birth.
OFF FEED/SICK COWS
Runny Nose, Cough, Respiratory Infections
- 1 Scoop (2 oz) of Vitamix 3-4x daily top dressed on feed or by drenching/capsules for usually 7 days +/-
Completely Off Feed

WE TRY TO AVOID ANTIBIOTIC USE, HOWEVER, IF YOU MUST GIVE AN ANTIBIOTIC IN A BIND...
*Give 1 scoop of Vitamix 2-3 x daily for 7-10 days following any heavy course of antibiotic or chemical wormer treatment, to immediately restore white blood cell production and intestinal flora as the natural immune response will be suppressed after heavy drug use, leaving the animal vulnerable to reinfection.

Giving this to my cow who’s due to calve soon, literally put a pep in her step, she dances and prances on the way to feeding time and she loves the taste mixed with grain AND by itself. I plan to keep this on hand at all times!
